MAIN DUTIES
Requirements
Have a thorough understanding of IATA rules and procedures for air transport;
Welcome, inform, and advise the company's customers on schedules, fares, and conditions of carriage;
Make reservations and issue tickets in accordance with established procedures;
Make proposals tailored to customer requests or alternative offers when making reservations to ensure customer satisfaction;
Offer customers alternative solutions related to operational contingencies or flight irregularities;
Maintain and develop a customer and partner database, present the company's commercial offers to them to stimulate sales;
Process customer excess baggage and forward the information to the relevant departments for payment;
Direct customers to the appropriate departments for complaints, complex problem resolution, or disputes;
Regularly follow up with customers and inform them of new product or service offers;
Handle flight irregularities (ASM) until a report is produced for management in accordance with established procedures;
Carry out mailings and phone calls relating to the company's products, according to management instructions;
Contribute to customer loyalty in relation to the company's products and services;
Ensure the monitoring and transmission of customer statements under contract to the relevant departments for processing;
Produce regular, quantified reports on activity for management;
Ensure compliance with working methods, rules, and procedures in force;
Perform any other tasks assigned by management within the scope of their duties.
Required skills, expertise, and professional qualities
Minimum 2 years of higher education in business, sales, air transport, tourism, or equivalent;
Proficiency in the Amadeus reservation system (or any other equivalent GDS);
Have excellent customer service skills, a professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills;
Be rigorous, dynamic, organized and able to work under pressure;
Have a good command of office software (Word, Excel, Outlook);
Be available to work irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays.
